These delicious macarons are the perfect sweet treat. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and you can fill them as you like. Preparation time is about 2 hours, and the recipe makes about 20 pieces. Ingredients:
- 100 g almond flour
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 50 g granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Food coloring (optional)
- Filling (e.g., chocolate ganache, raspberry jam, or buttercream)
Instructions:
1. Combine the almond flour and powdered sugar in a bowl and sift together.
2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy, then gradually add the granulated sugar while continuing to beat until stiff, glossy peaks form.
3. Add the vanilla extract and food coloring if desired.
4. Gently fold the almond flour-sugar mixture into the egg white mixture until combined into a smooth batter.
5. Pipe small round mounds of batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Allow the mounds to dry at room temperature for about 30-60 minutes.
7. Bake the macarons at 150°C (300°F) for about 12-15 minutes.
8. Allow to cool before filling.
