Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (red or yellow)
- 300 g ground beef (or chicken)
- 100 ml rice
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 100 ml tomato sauce
- 100 ml grated cheese
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or basil) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
2. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
3. Add the ground meat to the pan and cook until browned.
4. Cook the rice according to the package instructions and mix it with the meat mixture.
5. Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, and paprika powder. Add the tomato sauce and mix well.
6. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
7. Fill the peppers with the meat and rice mixture.
8. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
9. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is golden brown.
10. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
