A delicious and healthy chocolate oatmeal cookie to satisfy your sweet cravings without artificial sugar. Preparation time is just 20 minutes, and it yields about 12 cookies. Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup nuts or seeds
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (sugar-free if desired)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
3. Add the rolled oats, peanut butter, cocoa powder, honey, nuts, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, salt, and baking powder to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and shape them into cookies on the baking sheet.
5. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or until they are slightly firm.
6. Allow to cool for a moment before serving.
