Ingredients:
- 100 g almond flour
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 75 g egg whites
- 25 g granulated sugar
- 50 g strawberry puree
- 100 g butter
- 200 g powdered sugar (for filling)
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the almond flour and powdered sugar. Sift the mixture to ensure it is fine.
2. Whip the egg whites until foamy, then gradually add the granulated sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form and the mixture is glossy.
3. Gently fold the almond flour and powdered sugar mixture into the egg whites until fully combined.
4. Pipe the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in desired round sizes.
5. Let the macarons dry at room temperature for about 30-60 minutes, until the surface feels dry to the touch.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (300°F) for about 12-15 minutes. Allow them to cool on the baking sheet.
7. For the filling, beat the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar together. Add the strawberry puree and mix well.
8. Fill the cooled macarons with the strawberry filling and sandwich them together.
9. Allow the flavors to meld in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours before serving.
