Ingredients:

- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 200 g fresh strawberries
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
4. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking tray and spread it evenly.
5. Bake in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, until the surface is beautifully golden brown.
6. Turn the baked base onto another piece of parchment paper and carefully peel off the original paper. Allow to cool.
7. Whip the heavy cream and add the powdered sugar. Slice the strawberries.
8. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled base and add the strawberry slices.
9. Roll the base tightly starting from the bottom. Wrap the roll cake in parchment paper and let it set in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
10. Slice and serve. Enjoy!
