Ingredients:

- 4 eggs
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (optional, for a chocolate version)
- 2 dl heavy cream
- 2 dl fresh strawberries
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Vanilla sugar to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Grease and flour a baking sheet.
2. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until fluffy and light.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder (if using), then sift into the egg mixture.
4. Pour the batter onto the baking sheet and spread it into an even layer.
5. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
6. Invert the roll cake onto a clean sheet of parchment paper and carefully remove it.
7. Allow the cake to cool completely.
8. Whip the heavy cream and fold in the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
9. Slice the strawberries and spread them over the cooled cake.
10. Spread the whipped cream over the strawberries and roll the cake tightly.
11. Chill the roll cake in the refrigerator before serving.
