- 1 egg
- 1.2 dl milk
- 30 g melted butter
- 4.5 dl buttermilk
- 2.25 dl all-purpose flour
- 0.5 dl chopped nuts (such as pecans)
Instructions:
1. Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk it lightly.
2. Add the milk and melted butter to the egg and mix well.
3. Stir in the buttermilk until smooth.
4. Sift the all-purpose flour into the mixture and stir until the batter is uniform.
5. Gently fold in the chopped nuts.
6. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and pour in the batter to form pancakes of desired size.
7. Cook the pancakes for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
8. Serve the pancakes warm with berries or maple syrup.
