Delicious and moist pear curd pie, perfect for dessert or coffee breaks.

Ingredients

- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2-3 pears
- 1 cup milk (lactose-free)
- 80 g oil
- ½ cup sugar
- 500 g cottage cheese (lactose-free)
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup almond flakes
- 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Whisk the oil and sugar together in a bowl until fluffy.
3. Add one egg and mix well.
4. Combine the flour and baking powder, then add to the mixture.
5. Pour in the milk and stir until you have a smooth batter.
6. Pour the batter into a greased pie dish.
7. Peel and slice the pears, and arrange them on top of the batter.
8. In a separate bowl, mix the cottage cheese, brown sugar, vanilla sugar, and one egg. Spread this mixture over the pears.
9. Sprinkle almond flakes on top of the pie.
10. Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
11. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
