A warm and comforting apple porridge, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings

Ingredients:

- 1½ dl rice porridge
- 3-5 apples
- 1-1½ dl sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- A pinch of salt
- Water

Instructions:

1. Boil water in a pot and add a pinch of salt.
2. Add the rice to the boiling, salted water.
3. Dice the apples and add them to the pot along with the cinnamon stick.
4. Simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- If you prefer the apples to remain in chunks, cook the rice for 15 minutes first, then add the diced apples.
5. Taste the porridge and adjust the sweetness by adding sugar as desired. Remove the cinnamon stick.
6. Serve the porridge warm or cold, either on its own or with milk.
