A delicious apple tart filled with creamy cheese filling, perfect for dessert or coffee breaks. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 300 g frozen shortcrust pastry
- Baking-resistant jam (e.g., apricot or apple)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 can (250 g) quark cheese
Instructions:
1. Press the thawed shortcrust pastry into the bottom and sides of a pie dish.
2. In a bowl, mix the jam, quark cheese, sugar, lemon juice, and eggs together until well combined.
3. Spoon the filling evenly over the pastry.
4. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for 30–40 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
5. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
