A delicious apple and quark tart that combines a soft crust with a creamy filling. Perfect for dessert or a sweet snack! Preparation time: 60 minutes
Serving size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 100 g margarine
- 3/4 dl sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1½ dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl rye or whole wheat flour
- 2-3 apples (diced)
- 200 g quark
- 1/2 dl sugar (for the quark filling)
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 egg (for the quark filling)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, cream the margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy.
2. Add the egg and mix well.
3. Combine the baking powder with the all-purpose and rye or whole wheat flour, then add to the mixture.
4. Stir the ingredients until a smooth dough forms.
5. Spread the dough evenly in a greased tart pan.
6. Arrange the diced apples on top of the dough.
7. For the quark filling, mix the quark, sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg together until smooth.
8. Pour the quark mixture over the apple pieces.
9. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes, or until the top is beautifully golden brown.
10. Allow to cool before serving.
