A tribute to Bavarian beer culture, this delicious pork stew is effortlessly made in the oven, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Serving Size: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1 kg pork (such as shoulder or shank)
- 2 onions
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 1 red cabbage
- 500 ml dark beer
- 200 ml beef broth
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large pot and brown the pork on all sides. Season with salt and pepper.
2. Add chopped onions and garlic, sauté until soft.
3. Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots, then add them to the pot.
4. Chop the red cabbage and add it to the stew.
5. Pour in the beer and beef broth. Add mustard, honey, and bay leaves.
6. Let the stew simmer for about 10 minutes, then transfer the pot to a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F).
7. Braise in the oven for approximately 1.5 hours or until the meat is tender.
8. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving hot.
