Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
- Marshmallows or whipped cream for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat, but do not let it boil.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
3. Add the cocoa mixture to the warm milk and stir well until all ingredients are fully dissolved.
4. Stir in the vanilla extract and mix again.
5. Pour the hot cocoa into cups and top with marshmallows or whipped cream.
