Delicious oatmeal cookies that make a perfect snack or sweet treat with coffee. Preparation time is about 30 minutes. Serves: 20 cookies.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 dl sugar
- 4 dl rolled oats
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 100 g melted butter
- 200 g butter
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, and all-purpose flour together until a smooth dough forms.
2. Spread the dough evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. In a saucepan, melt the butter for the topping and then mix in the rolled oats and sugar.
4. Spread the topping evenly over the dough.
5. Gently press the topping into the surface of the dough.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 15-20 minutes or until the top is a beautiful golden brown.
7. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
