Nepali Chicken Curry

A delicious and aromatic chicken dish inspired by traditional Nepali flavors. Preparation Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken fillet
- 3 medium-sized onions
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 cm fresh ginger
- 2 chili peppers
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 dl water
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and finely chop the onions, garlic, and ginger.
2. Cut the chili peppers into pieces of your desired size.
3. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
4. Add the onions, garlic, and ginger to the skillet and sauté until softened.
5. Add the chopped chili peppers and spices (turmeric, cumin, coriander) and mix well.
6. Add the chicken fillets to the skillet and cook until they are beautifully golden brown.
7. Pour in the water and season with salt, stir, and let simmer with the lid on for about 15-20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with rice or naan bread.
