A delicious Finnish berry pie that's easy to make!
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 2 dl sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract)
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1.5 dl milk
- 1 dl oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- (Optional: berries or fruits of your choice)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200-225 °C (392-437 °F).
2. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until frothy.
3. Add the vanilla sugar and mix well.
4. Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture and stir until smooth.
5. Pour in the milk and oil, mixing until the batter is silky.
6. Pour the batter into a greased pie dish.
7. If desired, add berries or fruits on top of the batter.
8. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the pie is cooked through.
9. Allow to cool before serving.
