Quick Cardamom Buns

Delicious and easy-to-make buns perfect for a quick baking moment! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: About 12 buns
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp ground cardamom
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 75 g butter or margarine
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 dl milk or sour cream
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- Coarse sugar for topping
- 1 dl granulated sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
2. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, cardamom, vanilla sugar, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt.
3. Add the egg and milk (or sour cream) to the mixture along with melted and cooled butter.
4. Stir the dough quickly until smooth, but do not over-knead.
5. Spoon the dough into muffin cups.
6. Sprinkle coarse sugar on top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until the buns are golden brown.
8. Allow to cool for a moment before serving.
