Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g. tagliatelle or spaghetti)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms (e.g. button mushrooms or chanterelles)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown.
5. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Toss the pasta with the creamy mushroom sauce, adding a bit of reserved cooking water if needed for a creamy consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix well.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
