Ingredients:

- 300 g pasta (e.g., tagliatelle or spaghetti)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms or chanterelles)
- 1 small onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft.
4. Add the garlic and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until the mushrooms are golden brown and any moisture has evaporated.
5. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and let it simmer for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Stir the cooked pasta into the mushroom sauce. If the mixture is too thick, add a little reserved cooking water.
7. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix well.
8. Serve topped with fresh parsley.
