Serving Size: 10 pastries
Ingredients
- 40 g sugar - 12-14 dl flour
- 400 g minced meat
- 500 g water
- 100 g fat
- 2-4 dl cooked rice
- 50 g fresh yeast
- White pepper
- Meat seasoning/beef broth powder
- 10 g salt
Instructions
1. Begin by preparing the filling. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside. 2. In a pan, cook the minced meat until well done. Add chopped onion to the meat and cook until the onion is soft.
3. Season the meat mixture with white pepper and meat seasoning.
4. Combine the cooked rice and meat mixture in a large bowl and let it cool.
5. For the dough, dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water. Add sugar, salt, and fat, and mix well.
6. Gradually add flour and knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes.
7. Once the dough has risen, divide it into small pieces and roll each piece into a thin sheet.
8. Add filling to each sheet and seal the pastries by folding the edges together.
9. Bake the pastries in an oven preheated to 200°C (392°F) for about 20-25 minutes, until they are beautifully golden brown.
