Delicious filled pastries that are perfect for a snack or light meal. This recipe offers a tasty filling and a soft dough. Preparation Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Serving Size: 12-15 pastries
Ingredients:
- 600 g ground beef
- 1.5 dl rice
- 3 onions
- 0.5 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1.5 tsp sugar
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 6 dl milk
- 50 g yeast
- 14 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk.
2. Add oil, sugar, and salt to the yeast mixture.
3. Gradually mix in the flour and knead the dough until smooth.
4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 40 minutes.
5. Cook the rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
6. Peel and chop the onions, then sauté them in a pan until golden brown.
7. Add ground beef to the onions and cook until the meat is done. Season with white and black pepper, and salt.
8. Mix the cooked rice into the meat mixture and combine well.
9. Roll out the dough into a thin sheet and cut out circles.
10. Place filling in the center of each circle and seal the pastries well.
11. Bake the pastries in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 20-25 minutes, until they are golden brown.
