A delightful layered cake that combines sweet chocolate, a delicious filling, and a crispy base. Perfect for celebrations or special moments.

Ingredients

Base:
- About 200 g oat or Digestive biscuits
- About 75 g butter or other flavorful fat
Chocolate Layer:
- 5 gelatin leaves
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 300 ml heavy cream
- 100 g sugar
Filling:
- 200 g mascarpone cheese
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 100 ml milk

Instructions

1. Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with the melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan and refrigerate to set.
2. Soak the gelatin leaves in water for about 5 minutes.
3. Melt the chocolate in a water bath or microwave. Let it cool slightly.
4. Whip the heavy cream with the sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the melted chocolate.
5. Squeeze excess water from the gelatin leaves and dissolve them in a small amount of milk. Add the gelatin mixture to the chocolate layer and mix well.
6. Pour the chocolate layer over the set base and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to firm up.
7. Prepare the filling by mixing mascarpone, vanilla sugar, and milk. Spread the filling over the set chocolate layer.
8. Allow the cake to chill in the refrigerator for a few more hours before serving.
