Ingredients:
- 1 large package of puff pastry
- 1 packet of vanilla custard
- Bake-stable jam (e.g., apricot or raspberry)
- 1 egg (for brushing)
- Granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Roll out the puff pastry into a thin sheet and cut it into 12 rectangular pieces.
3. Place a teaspoon of vanilla custard in the center of each piece.
4. Add a teaspoon of bake-stable jam on top of the custard.
5. Fold the pastry pieces in half, ensuring the filling stays inside, and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
6. Brush the pastries with beaten egg and sprinkle granulated sugar on top.
