Ingredients:
- 200 g butter - 4 dl sugar
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 dl milk
- 4 eggs
Frosting:
- 200 g butter - 3 dl powdered sugar
- 2 dl cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp strong coffee
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and mix in the sugar. 2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together the dry ingredients and then add them to the batter, alternating with the milk.
4. Pour the batter into a baking tray lined with parchment paper (approximately 30x40 cm).
5. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes.
6. For the frosting: melt the butter and mix in the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, coffee, and vanilla sugar.
7. Spread the frosting over the cooled base.
8. Let the mokkapalat rest in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
