These tasty veggie patties are a perfect addition to a light meal or as a filling for a burger. Easy to make and full of flavor! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 patties
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked black beans (canned or boiled)
- 1 cup grated carrot
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for frying)
Instructions:
1. Mash the black beans with a fork or in a blender until nearly smooth.
2. Add the grated carrot, rolled oats, onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika to the mixture. Mix well.
3. Shape the mixture into four patties.
4. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
5. Serve warm with salad or in a bun.
