Ingredients:
- 4 slices of white bread - 2 local apples
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Butter for frying
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions:
1. Slice the apples into thin wedges. 2. In a bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk, cinnamon, and sugar. Mix well.
3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a knob of butter.
4. Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
5. Fry the bread slices in the pan until golden brown on both sides.
6. Remove the bread from the pan and layer the apple slices on top.
7. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
