These energy-packed bars make a perfect snack that is easy to prepare and can be customized to your liking. Fresh berries and nuts make them delicious and nutritious. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: About 12 bars
Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour (any type or a mix)- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1 cup sugar or 3/4 cup syrup
- 1/2 cup nuts or almonds
- 1 cup seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/4 cups liquid (e.g., yogurt + plant milk)
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup oil
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together until well combined.2. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
3. Cut the batter into bars before baking.
4. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 20 minutes.
5. Allow the bars to cool in the dish and then let them dry on a rack.
6. Enjoy as a quick snack or for a boost of energy!
