These tasty veggie patties are a perfect addition to any meal or a delicious snack. They are quick to prepare and especially suitable for a vegetarian diet. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 patties
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked beans (such as black beans or chickpeas)
- 1 cup oats
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Mash the cooked beans in a bowl with a fork or blender until smooth.
2. Add the oats, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated carrot, parsley, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
3. Shape the mixture into four patties using your hands.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Serve warm, for example with salad or bread.
