Rustic Teff Bread

A wholesome and hearty bread made with teff flour, perfect for sandwiches or as a side with soups. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 10 slices
Ingredients:
- 6 dl water
- 25 g yeast
- 1 tbsp psyllium husk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1½ dl teff flour
- 1 packet Semper Rustic Bread Mix
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water.
2. Stir in the psyllium husk and let it swell for about 3 minutes.
3. Add the olive oil and salt, mixing well.
4. Gradually incorporate the teff flour and Semper Rustic Bread Mix, kneading continuously.
5. Knead the dough vigorously using a stand mixer or with a hand mixer fitted with dough hooks for a few minutes.
6. Grease a 1.5-liter loaf pan.
7. Press the dough into an even layer at the bottom of the pan.
8. Allow the dough to rise for 30 minutes.
9. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 225°C (437°F) on the lower rack for about 45 minutes.
