Teff Rolls

Delicious and nutritious teff rolls that are easy and quick to make without kneading. Perfect as a bread substitute or for a picnic. - Preparation Time: 1 hour
- Serving Size: 10 rolls
Ingredients:
- 5 dl warm water - 50 g yeast
- 1 tbsp psyllium husk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 container (200 g) sour cream
- 1 dl sugar beet flakes
- 3 dl Jytte Teff flour
- 2½ dl Jytte light flour
- About 1 dl Jytte light flour for dusting
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water and stir in the psyllium. Let it sit for a few minutes to thicken. 2. Add salt, sour cream, and sugar beet flakes to the psyllium mixture. Mix until smooth.
3. Gradually add the flours while mixing well.
4. Once all the flours are added, knead the dough for a few more minutes using a stand mixer or a hand mixer with dough hooks.
5. Pour the dough onto a surface dusted with flour and shape it into a uniform log.
6. Cut the log into 10 equal pieces and place them on a baking sheet.
7. Let rise in a warm place covered with a cloth for about 30-40 minutes.
8. Bake at 225°C (437°F) for about 20 minutes until the rolls are beautifully golden brown.
