Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 small onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and save a little cooking water.
2. Chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
4. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until golden brown.
5. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well. If the mixture seems too dry, add a bit of reserved cooking water.
7. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
