A warm and festive spiced apple cider perfect for chilly evenings.

Ingredients:
- 1 liter dry apple cider
- 6 cloves
- 3 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 vanilla bean, split (seeds scraped out)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 2 clementines, sliced
- Seeds from 1 pomegranate
- 4 tablespoons sugar (optional)
Instructions:
1. Pour the apple cider into a pot and heat over medium heat. Allow it to warm for a few minutes.
2. Add all the ingredients to the cider.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat so it simmers. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Taste and add sugar if desired.
5. Strain the drink before serving.
6. Enjoy either warm or chilled.
