Ingredients:
- 200 g coconut flakes
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 100 ml milk
- 100 g dark chocolate (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the sugar until well combined.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Incorporate the coconut flakes, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and milk into the mixture. Stir until the batter is smooth.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through and the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. If desired, melt the dark chocolate and drizzle it over the top for decoration.
