A delicious and visually appealing dish perfect for festive gatherings, combining the flavors of smoked salmon with a creamy dill-chive sauce.

Serving Size: 4-6

Ingredients:

- 400 g salmon fillet
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Dill-Chive Sauce:
- 200 g sour cream
- 1 dl fresh dill, chopped
- 1 dl chives, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix sugar, salt, black pepper, coriander seeds, and fennel seeds.
2. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the salmon fillet and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours, preferably 24 hours.
3. Remove the salmon from the refrigerator and rinse off the marinade. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels.
4. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the salmon fillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Allow the salmon to cool before slicing it thinly.
6. Prepare the sauce by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve the salmon pastrami thinly sliced alongside the dill-chive sauce.
