A delicious and nutritious breakfast or brunch dish served between slices of light bread. This recipe is easy to prepare and adds flavor to your morning. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g salmon fillet
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dill
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 4 slices of light bread
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- Fresh herbs (e.g., basil or parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the salt, sugar, black pepper, dill, and lemon zest.
2. Rub the spice mixture onto the surface of the salmon fillet and wrap it in plastic wrap.
3. Allow the salmon to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
4. Remove the salmon from the refrigerator and slice it thinly.
5. Lightly toast the slices of bread.
6. Spread cream cheese on top of the toasted bread.
7. Add the salmon pastrami on top of the cream cheese.
8. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
