Ingredients:
Salmon Pastrami:- 500 g salmon fillet
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tbsp dill
Gravlax:
- 300 g whitefish fillet
- 1.5 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tbsp dill
Instructions:
1. Salmon Pastrami:1. In a bowl, mix salt, sugar, black pepper, ground cardamom, and dill.
2. Rub the spice mixture onto the salmon fillet.
3. Wrap the salmon tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours, preferably overnight.
4. Slice the salmon thinly before serving.
2. Gravlax:
1. In a bowl, combine salt, sugar, ginger, and lime juice.
2. Rub the mixture onto the whitefish fillet and wrap it in plastic wrap.
3. Allow the fish to cure in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours.
4. Slice the gravlax thinly before serving.
