A delicious macaroni bake made with fish, perfect as an alternative to traditional macaroni dishes. Easy to prepare and loved by the whole family!

Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g macaroni
- 400 g fish (e.g., salmon or cod)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 dl cream
- 2 dl milk
- 3 eggs
- 150 g cheese (e.g., Emmental or mozzarella)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter for sautéing
- Fresh herbs (e.g., dill or parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Heat the butter in a pan and sauté the onion until soft.
3. Add the fish fillets to the pan and cook until the fish is done. Flake the fish roughly with a fork.
4. In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, fish mixture, cream, milk, eggs, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and smooth the surface.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 30 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Let the bake cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs.
