A delicious and rich dish perfect for any occasion. Preparation time: 30 minutes. Serving size: 4 servings.
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button or chanterelles)
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté for about 3 minutes.
3. Add the chopped mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are soft and the moisture has evaporated.
4. Pour the heavy cream into the mushroom mixture, stir well, and let it simmer for a few minutes.
5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the mixture and stir until the cheese has melted. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water as needed.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and mix well.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
