A delicious creamy mushroom pasta that is quick and easy to prepare, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients:

- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Chop the onion and garlic finely. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, sauté for about 3-4 minutes.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are soft and slightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Pour the cooking cream into the pan and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Grate the Parmesan cheese over the pasta and mix. Season with salt and pepper.
8. Serve with fresh basil on top, if using.
