Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g ground beef (or lamb)
- 100 g crumbled feta cheese
- 3 tbsp Baba Foods’ olive paste
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 egg
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the ground meat, crumbled feta, olive paste, chopped onion, crushed garlic, and egg.
2. Add breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, oregano, and thyme. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly combined.
3. Shape the mixture into balls about the size of golf balls.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
5. Fry the meatballs in the pan for about 8-10 minutes, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
6. Serve warm, with a dipping sauce or on their own.
