A delicious and nutritious dish that combines semolina and minced meat, perfect for a family dinner. Preparation Time: Over 60 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 dl semolina
- 2 dl milk
- 400 g minced meat (beef or pork-beef mix)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried herbs (e.g., thyme or oregano)
- 1 tbsp olive oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Soak the semolina in milk for at least 30 minutes.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the minced meat until browned. Season with salt, black pepper, and herbs.
3. Mix the soaked semolina into the minced meat.
4. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add them to the meat mixture. Stir well.
5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
