Bread Cheese Flamed with Caramel Sauce

A delicious dessert that combines the flavors of bread cheese, caramel sauce, and cranberries. You can prepare it over a campfire or in your kitchen. Preparation time: about 30 minutes. Serves: 4.Ingredients:
- 400 - 500 g bread cheese- 4 cl Pople Cranberry & Salted Caramel liqueur
- 4 cl brandy
- Caramel Sauce:
- 1 1/2 dl brown sugar
- 2 dl heavy cream
- Additionally:
- cranberries
- a small knob of butter
Instructions:
1. First, prepare the caramel sauce. In a thick-bottomed pot, combine the brown sugar and heavy cream. Bring to a boil and cook for about 10 minutes.2. Cut the bread cheese into serving pieces or cubes. Quickly fry the bread cheese in a pan with butter on both sides until it starts to soften. Remove excess liquid if the cheese releases too much.
3. If not flambéing, add about 1/2 dl of Pople Cranberry & Salted Caramel liqueur to the caramel sauce towards the end of cooking.
4. If flambéing, pour the liqueur and brandy over the bread cheese in the hot pan and ignite. Allow the flames to burn out completely.
5. Let the remaining liquid in the pan reduce, then pour in the caramel sauce. Top with cranberries and serve.
