Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour - 300 ml warm water
- 10 g salt
- 10 g sugar
- 7 g dry yeast
- 30 ml olive oil
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the dry yeast and sugar in warm water and let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy. 2. In a large bowl, mix the salt with the flour.
3. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour and add the olive oil.
4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is elastic and smooth.
5. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Allow the loaf to rise for an additional 30 minutes.
8. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
9. Make slashes on the surface of the loaf and bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the bread is golden brown.
10. Let the bread cool before slicing.
