Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms or chanterelles)
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are soft and the moisture has evaporated.
5. Pour the cream over the mushroom mixture and stir well. Allow to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix. If the mixture is too dry, add a little reserved pasta water. Season with salt and black pepper.
7. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
8. Serve immediately and garnish with fresh parsley.
