Traditional blinis are delicious and rich, perfect to enjoy with a variety of toppings. This recipe is easy to prepare ahead of time and can be reheated as needed. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4-6 people
Ingredients:
- 2 dl buckwheat flour- 2 dl wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 packet dry yeast (7 g)
- 3 dl milk
- 2 eggs
- 50 g butter (melted)
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the buckwheat flour, wheat flour, salt, sugar, and dry yeast.2. Add the milk and eggs to the mixture and stir until smooth.
3. Incorporate the melted butter and mix well.
4. Let the batter rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
5. Heat a frying pan and add a little oil.
6. Pour some batter onto the pan and fry the blini on both sides until golden brown.
7. Repeat with the remaining batter.
8. Serve the blinis warm with various toppings, such as sour cream, pickles, and caviar.
