This colorful kids menu is designed to entice little eaters with new flavors and textures. Preparation time is about 30 minutes and serves 4.Ingredients:
- 200 g mussels- 200 g pasta (e.g., stars or spaghetti)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 bell pepper (red or yellow)
- 1 zucchini
- 1 carrot
- 100 ml whipped cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente.2. Rinse the mussels under cold water and remove any debris.
3. Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the chopped bell pepper, zucchini, and carrot. Sauté the vegetables for about 5 minutes.
4. Add the mussels to the pan and cook until they open. Discard any unopened mussels.
5. Toss the cooked pasta with the vegetables and mussels. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Serve the dish topped with whipped cream and garnish with fresh basil.
