Ingredients:
- 4 bell peppers (e.g., red or yellow)
- 300 g ground meat (beef or chicken)
- 1 cup rice (e.g., long-grain)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan and add the onion and garlic. Sauté until softened.
4. Add the ground meat and cook until browned. Season with paprika powder, salt, and black pepper.
5. Mix the cooked rice into the meat mixture and add the tomato sauce. Let it simmer for a moment.
6. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
7. Fill the peppers with the meat mixture and place them in a baking dish.
8. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the stuffed peppers.
9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (350 °F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is nicely melted.
10. Serve warm.
