This delicious lamb stew combines tender lamb meat and soft potatoes, creating a rich and flavorful meal. Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 4-6
Ingredients:
- About 1 kg bone-in lamb meat (shoulder, fore shank, breast)- 10-12 potatoes
- 3-4 dl beef broth
- 1-2 tsp rosemary
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thick rounds. Spread the potatoes at the bottom of a pot.2. Layer the lamb pieces on top of the potatoes and season with salt, adding the crushed garlic cloves.
3. Pour the beef broth into the pot and sprinkle rosemary on top.
4. Cover the pot with a lid and place it in the oven preheated to 175°C (350°F).
5. Let the stew simmer in the oven for about 1.5 hours or until the meat is tender and the potatoes are soft.
