A delicious berry pie that combines sweet berries and rich dough. This recipe is perfect for dessert or as a coffee cake. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter - 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 3 dl berries (e.g., blueberries, raspberries, or lingonberries)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a pie dish. 2. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until smooth.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and smooth the surface.
7. Sprinkle the berries on top of the batter.
8. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the top is beautifully golden brown.
9. Allow to cool before serving.
