A delicious Swedish Christmas fish that adds traditional flavor to your holiday table. Preparation time is about 30 minutes, serving size is 4-6 people.Ingredients:
- 500 g fresh salmon
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 dl dill, chopped
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions:
1. Mix sugar, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
2. Rub the mixture evenly over the surface of the salmon.
3. Place the salmon on a plate and top with dill, lemon slices, and red onion slices.
4. Drizzle olive oil over the fish and cover with plastic wrap.
5. Let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.
6. Serve chilled, for example, with bread.
